With our Colocation / Housing service we move your physical servers from the office to Seintec's datacenter, an environment designed specifically to host critical IT infrastructure. Office and datacenter are linked through VPN and secure, encrypted communications, so users, applications and systems keep accessing the servers transparently. The servers remain the customer's property, but no longer depend on the physical conditions of a conventional office. And when time matters, we can act exceptionally fast: we offer immediate housing, with capacity to host equipment in our datacenter within approximately 2 business hours.

Common pre-engagement questions
- When your server needs hands, who acts in the datacenter?
- You don't need to travel to the datacenter every time a machine requires physical intervention. Our technical team includes hardware specialists able to work on your servers: physical inspection, connecting devices, replacing components, restarts, cabling checks and other operations on the hosted equipment. The goal is that you manage physical infrastructure hosted outside your office as easily as if the server were a few metres away.
- Is operating system management included for hosted servers?
- The Colocation / Housing service can be limited to physical hosting of your equipment plus remote hands. Operating system management is not included by default: it is contracted additionally through our Managed IT Services, where the Seintec team takes on management, monitoring, updating and maintenance of the hosted servers' operating system.
- Which space options can I contract?
- You can contract individual rack units, a quarter rack or a half rack, depending on the number of servers, storage and communications equipment you need to host.
- How quickly can you host my servers?
- We offer immediate housing, with capacity available within approximately 2 business hours. For companies with critical needs we can keep rack units prepared in advance for 24×7 contingency scenarios.
