With our Colocation / Housing service, we relocate your physical servers from the office to the Seintec datacenter, where they benefit from an environment specifically designed to host critical IT infrastructure. The office and the datacenter are connected via VPN and secure, encrypted communications, allowing users, applications, and systems to continue accessing the servers transparently. The servers remain the property of the client, but no longer depend on the physical conditions of a conventional office. And when time matters, we can act especially fast: we offer immediate housing with availability to host equipment in our datacenter in approximately 2 working hours.

Common pre-engagement questions
- When your server needs hands, who acts in the datacenter?
- You do not need to travel to the datacenter every time a piece of equipment requires physical intervention. Our technical team has hardware specialists capable of performing actions on your servers: physical inspection, device connection, component replacement, reboots, cabling checks, and other necessary operations on the hosted equipment. The objective is for you to manage physical infrastructure hosted outside your office with the same agility as if the server were just a few metres away from you.
- Is the operating system management of the hosted servers included?
- The Colocation / Housing service can be limited to the physical hosting of your equipment and remote hands. Operating system management is not included by default: it is contracted additionally through our Managed IT Services, whereby the Seintec team assumes the management, supervision, updating, and maintenance of the operating system of the hosted servers.
- What space options can I contract?
- You can contract individual rack units, a quarter rack cabinet, or a half rack cabinet, depending on the number of servers, storage, and communications equipment you need to host.
- Do you offer dedicated servers in addition to housing?
- Yes. In addition to hosting your own equipment, you can contract a dedicated server for exclusive use hosted in our datacenter, without an initial investment in hardware. We dimension CPU, memory, and storage according to your workload and, if required, we add operating system management through Managed IT Services.
- How quickly can you host my servers?
- We offer immediate housing, with the capacity to make the space available in approximately 2 working hours. For companies with critical needs, we can have rack units pre-prepared for 24×7 contingency scenarios.
