Business connectivity with fibre, radio link, and Starlink

We design and manage your company's Internet connection using fibre optics, dedicated links, radio link, or satellite, including redundant solutions to keep the business connected when the primary line fails.

We do not sell a tariff: we study the location, available coverage, and the applications that rely on the connection, select the appropriate technology, coordinate the installation, and become your technical point of contact when something fails.

Your company doesn't need a tariff. It needs to stay connected.

The starting point

When the Internet ceases to be a service and becomes critical infrastructure

The ERP, email, Microsoft 365, IP telephony, POS, VPN between sites, remote working, production, logistics, and even backups travel over the same line. When that line goes down, the company does not just slow down: it stops. And at that moment, the conversation ceases to be technical and becomes a business matter.

  • Locations where fibre does not reach or arrives with limited coverage.
  • A single line upon which the entire operation depends, without an alternative route.
  • Connections dimensioned years ago that no longer service cloud and video calls.
  • Incidents that are difficult to escalate and follow up with the operator.
  • Multiple different providers and no one taking responsibility for the whole.
  • Lack of monitoring: the outage is detected by the user, not the system.

When the connection drops, work doesn't just slow down: it stops.

Our response

A connection designed around your business

We begin with the location, the actual available coverage, the number of users, the applications that depend on the network, the criticality of the service, the necessary bandwidth, and the level of redundancy that makes sense for the business. With this information, we select the technology —FTTH, business fibre, dedicated fibre, radio link, satellite, or a redundant combination—, coordinate the installation with the provider, supervise the commissioning, and integrate it with the firewall, the VPN, the cloud, and the rest of your IT infrastructure.

We evaluate, design, install and take full responsibility. A single point of contact.

Technologies

The right technology for every location

FTTH Fibre

High-performance connectivity for offices and businesses where location coverage permits.

Dedicated fibre

Reserved capacity and enterprise-grade conditions for critical environments, subject to feasibility and the provider used.

Radio link

Professional wireless connectivity for locations where fibre is not viable or as an independent secondary route.

Starlink for business

LEO satellite internet featuring Starlink technology for locations without fibre or as an independent secondary link.

Redundant connectivity

Combination of two distinct technologies to reduce dependency on a single connection and a single route.

Automatic failover

Switchover to the secondary line when the configured architecture detects a failure in the primary one.

Service continuity

Fibre + Starlink: two paths to keep working

A redundant architecture does not prevent the main line from failing: it prevents its failure from stopping the business. This is the conceptual diagram; the exact architecture depends on each project, the communications equipment and the applications that must remain operational.

  1. 01

    Primary connection

FTTH, business or dedicated fibre optic, depending on coverage and site criticality.

  2. 02

    Router / firewall

The communications team continuously monitors the availability of the primary line.

  3. 03

    Automatic failover

Upon detecting a failure according to the configured criteria, it switches traffic to the secondary route.

  4. 04

    Secondary link

Starlink or radio link assume the available connectivity based on the configured architecture.

  5. 05

    Restoration

Once the fibre recovers, the architecture can return to the primary route in a controlled manner.

We are not talking about zero seconds of downtime or 100 % availability: we are talking about redundancy, failover, and a real reduction in the risk of downtime.

Dual path

Your second connection only matters the day the first one fails

We design the dual route with the combination that makes sense for each location, criticality, and budget, and we incorporate detection and switching into the communications equipment.

MonitoringDetectionFailoverRecovery

Fibre + Starlink

Two technologically independent routes: the secondary one does not depend on the terrestrial infrastructure of the primary one.

Fibre + radio link

Wireless alternative when the location and topography allow for a stable link against a point of presence.

Fibre + second fibre

Double terrestrial line, with the nuance of verifying that the physical routes and providers are truly distinct.

Benefits

What changes when connectivity is managed by your IT provider

A single point of contact

If there is an incident, you call Seintec. We coordinate the diagnosis, the follow-up with the operator or provider, and the resolution, and we keep you informed.

Supervised installation

Our technical team coordinates and supervises the installation and validates its integration with the company infrastructure before final sign-off.

The right technology for every case

We do not attempt to fit every project into the same connection: FTTH, dedicated fibre, radio link or satellite depending on location, coverage and criticality.

Realistic continuity

We design redundant architectures to reduce the risk of a breakdown leaving the company without a connection, without promising absolute availability.

Integration with your IT infrastructure

Connectivity is designed alongside the firewall, VPN, cloud, servers and backup, not as an isolated element.

Close support

We are not a mass-market operator. Our advantage lies in agility, proximity and the technical capacity to support the client.

Operator or technology partner

We do not want to be your major carrier. We want to be the one who solves the problem.

Major carriers have scale, networks and coverage, and they do their job well in those areas. We offer something else: we know your IT environment, we design bespoke connections, we integrate them with the rest of the infrastructure and we take accountability when an incident occurs.

The carrier

  • Provides the access and the network.
  • Provides support through mass channels.
  • Does not know your internal infrastructure.

Seintec

  • Analyses the requirement and designs the solution.
  • Coordinates installation and commissioning.
  • Integrates the connection with firewalls, VPN, cloud and servers.
  • Supervises and monitors according to the contracted service.
  • Acting as a single point of contact for any incident.

Proven experience

Connectivity within an infrastructure we are familiar with.

For us, the Internet is not an isolated product: it is part of the network, firewall, cybersecurity, VPN, cloud, datacenter, servers, backup, and recovery plan. This is why we design it alongside the rest of the platform rather than separately.

High-capacity backbone fibre.

Our datacenter outputs at 10 Gb/s via the Xarxa Oberta de Catalunya.

Backup radio link.

The Seintec infrastructure itself features a redundant radio link to a remote telecommunications centre.

Continuous surveillance.

In-house operations centre monitoring availability and performance 24 × 7.

How we work

From coverage assessment to live connection

  1. 01 — Assessment

We analyse location, available coverage, existing infrastructure, applications, and service criticality.

  2. 02 — Design

We select fibre, satellite, radio link, or a redundant combination, and define the switching architecture.

  3. 03 — Installation

We coordinate the deployment with the provider, supervise the works, and validate the integration with your network.

  4. 04 — Operation

Seintec becomes the technical point of contact for monitoring and incidents, according to the contracted service.

Use cases

Where this connectivity fits in.

Each location has its own combination of coverage, criticality and applications. These are the scenarios we encounter most frequently.

Offices

Enterprise fibre with centralised support and a single point of technical contact.

Industry

Redundant connectivity for production applications, cloud systems and remote access to the plant.

Logistics

Connection for warehouses and operational locations with continuous activity.

Retail

Continuity for TPV, inventory, ERP and communication between the shop and headquarters.

Rural businesses

Starlink or radio link for holdings and locations where fibre does not reach.

Critical sites

Dedicated fibre with an independent alternative connection as a contingency.

Why Seintec

Connectivity is the foundation for everything else

  • The connection is designed alongside the firewall, VPN, cloud, and datacenter: it is not an isolated product.
  • We operate our own infrastructure with backbone fibre, backup radio link, and 24 × 7 monitoring.
  • An identifiable point of contact who coordinates operators and providers on your behalf.

If your company loses Internet access, you don't call a sales rep. You call the person who can fix it.

We design connectivity alongside the firewall, VPN, cloud, servers and backup, ensuring the network is never the overlooked component.

Frequently Asked Questions

Commonly asked questions regarding enterprise connectivity

What type of fibre can my company contract?
It depends on the coverage available at the location and the business requirements. FTTH covers most offices well with an efficient cost/performance ratio; business fibre adds conditions and support oriented towards companies; and dedicated fibre provides reserved capacity and greater control for critical environments. Specific conditions depend on the operator or provider and the feasibility study for each address.
Can you manage a line even if the infrastructure belongs to another operator?
Yes. Depending on the service and the agreed contract, we act as the point of contact and technical coordinator: we open and follow the incident, provide the diagnosis from your network, and keep you informed. Actions on the operator's network remain the responsibility of the operator itself.
What happens if the fibre goes down?
If a redundant architecture has been designed, the communications equipment can automatically switch over to the configured secondary connection and activity continues through that route. When the primary line is restored, the architecture can resume its usual operation. Without a second route, the failure results in a lack of service until the operator resolves it.
Can Starlink be used as a fibre backup?
Yes. Starlink can be considered as a secondary link independent of terrestrial infrastructure, which is particularly advantageous as it does not share the same physical route as fibre. Suitability depends on location, required bandwidth, and the applications that must remain operational during a contingency.
Can Starlink be the primary connection?
Yes, when technical conditions and location make it appropriate, especially in sites where fibre is unavailable: rural environments, farms, construction sites, temporary installations, or isolated locations.
Which is better: a second fibre or Starlink?
It depends on the actual independence of the routes. A second fibre sharing the same ducting as the first provides less protection than it might seem; a satellite link is independent of terrestrial infrastructure but has different characteristics. We assess coverage, criticality, bandwidth, and budget before recommending one or the other.
Do you install radio links?
Yes, when they are technically appropriate for the project: locations without viable fibre, interconnection between nearby sites, or as a second route within a redundant architecture.
Do you monitor the connection?
Connectivity supervision is included when it forms part of the contracted service, for example within a managed service or the equipment and systems monitoring service. We define this in writing within the proposal to ensure it is clear what is being monitored and to what extent.
Is Seintec a telecommunications operator?
Seintec does not present itself as a telecommunications operator. Our value lies in designing, coordinating, integrating and technically managing business connectivity: we study the requirements, select the appropriate technology and provider, oversee the installation, integrate it with your IT infrastructure and act as the point of contact whenever an incident occurs.
