A Seintec dedicated server is a physical machine whose resources —processor, memory, disks and network— are reserved entirely for your company. We configure it around the applications it will run and host it in our data centre in Sant Miquel de Balenyà (Osona, province of Barcelona), serving companies in Barcelona, across Catalonia and throughout Spain.

Dedicated power for demanding projects
With a dedicated server you do not share processor, memory or disks with other customers. Performance is more predictable and the configuration reflects what your applications need, not a fixed catalogue.
It makes sense when the workload is sustained, when physical isolation is a requirement or when software licensing calls for dedicated hardware. For variable workloads or projects that start small, a VPS is usually more flexible; we help you decide.

We start from real usage: users, data volume, peak periods and availability requirements. From there we propose a configuration that performs today and leaves room to grow, without paying for capacity you will not use.
SSD and NVMe storage
SSD storage for general use and NVMe when the database or application needs the fastest possible reads and writes.
Tailored RAID
We set the RAID level according to the balance you need between performance, usable capacity and tolerance to disk failure.

Control over the configuration
You know exactly what hardware you have and why. We document the configuration so future decisions are based on facts.
RAID and backup do different jobs. RAID keeps the server running if a disk fails, but it does not protect against deletion, ransomware or an application error. That is why we always recommend combining RAID with a managed backup.

Servers are hosted in our data centre in Sant Miquel de Balenyà, Osona, with redundant power, cooling and connectivity. From there we serve companies in Barcelona, across Catalonia and throughout Spain, with data kept in Spain.
We include a 24/7 remote hands service in our data centre: when someone needs to act physically on the equipment —restart it, check a connection or replace a component— our staff does it so you do not have to travel. Tasks and response times follow the contracted service.

Frequently asked questions about dedicated servers
When is a dedicated server better than a VPS?
When the workload is high and constant, when you need physical isolation or when a software licence requires it. If you expect gradual growth or the workload fluctuates a lot, a VPS is usually more practical.
Can you configure the hardware to my specification?
Yes. We choose processor, memory, disks, RAID and network according to your applications and document the proposed configuration.
Do you have servers in stock?
Yes, we keep servers in stock to speed up preparation. Availability for a specific configuration is confirmed in the proposal.
Can you build a server with up to 2 TB of RAM?
Yes, depending on the chosen platform. We recommend it when the application genuinely needs that much memory.
What disk and RAID options are available?
We work with SSD and NVMe disks and several RAID levels depending on the balance between performance, capacity and fault tolerance. RAID does not replace backup.
Can I add a commercial or open-source hardware firewall?
Yes. Both can be part of the architecture as optional components; the specific solution is defined in the project.
What does the 24/7 remote hands service include?
Physical interventions by our staff on your equipment in the data centre, at any time, without you having to travel. Scope and response times depend on the contracted service.
Where will the server be hosted?
In our data centre in Sant Miquel de Balenyà (Osona, province of Barcelona), with data kept in Spain.
How is the migration of my current infrastructure planned?
We inventory your systems, prepare the new server in parallel, migrate in an agreed window and keep the old environment until the new one is validated.
