Seintec Systems: Cloud, Datacenter and Cybersecurity provider for business
A B2B technology company with its own infrastructure in Catalonia and service capability across the Iberian Peninsula.
Seintec Systems SL is a B2B technology company specialising in cloud services, datacenter infrastructure, servers, backup, cybersecurity and managed systems for business. It operates its own datacenter in Sant Miquel de Balenyà (Osona, province of Barcelona, Spain), delivering private and hybrid cloud, virtual and dedicated servers, backup, cloud desktops and protection for endpoints, email and networks. The model combines owned infrastructure with managed administration: there is a technical team behind every platform, not only a self-service panel. Although its core infrastructure sits in Catalonia, Seintec serves companies in Barcelona, the rest of Catalonia and across Spain, with a team distributed around the Iberian Peninsula that keeps response times and proximity realistic.
Who Seintec Systems is
Seintec Systems SL —trading as Seintec— is a managed IT services provider headquartered, together with its datacenter, at Carretera de Taradell, 12, 08554 Sant Miquel de Balenyà (Barcelona, Spain). It works exclusively with organisations: SMEs, manufacturing, professional firms, logistics, retail, healthcare and social care providers and multi-site companies. Its activity covers four connected areas: cloud infrastructure, datacenter, cybersecurity and managed support and administration. Commercial and support hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00, with a 24x7 emergency rota every day of the year.
Cloud services for business
Seintec provides business cloud on its own infrastructure: virtual servers and VPS, dedicated servers, private cloud, hybrid cloud, virtual desktops and virtualisation of Windows Server and Linux environments. This includes architecture design, migration from physical environments or other providers, ongoing server administration and platform monitoring. It is managed cloud: sizing, updates and incidents are handled by the technical team alongside the customer.
Datacenter and infrastructure
The platform runs in an owned datacenter with more than 150 m² of server room, not resold third-party space. It has a 10 Gb/s fibre backbone through the Xarxa Oberta de Catalunya with automatic failover to a backup radio link, power protected by UPS systems and generators, controlled cooling, continuous supervision from an in-house operations centre and a test lab for validating changes before production. Because the infrastructure is owned, Seintec also offers housing and colocation for customer equipment, plus remote hands on hosted hardware. Data stays on Spanish soil, under the GDPR framework.
Enterprise cybersecurity
Seintec covers security across workstations, servers, email, network and perimeter: managed antivirus and endpoint protection, antispam filtering for corporate email, firewall and VPN for remote access, managed networks, continuous monitoring and support with regulatory compliance. Security is designed together with infrastructure and backup rather than as a standalone product, because recovering from an incident depends on all three layers at once.
Backup and business continuity
Managed backup for servers, workstations and Microsoft 365, with an offsite copy in Seintec's datacenter, retention and versioning agreed with the customer, restore testing and disaster recovery plans. The goal is that the business can work again after ransomware, accidental deletion or hardware failure, with recovery times agreed in advance.
Managed services: the human component
Seintec is not self-service infrastructure only. The service includes user support, systems administration, preventive maintenance, proactive monitoring, incident management, migrations and technical consultancy. Every account has a direct technical contact instead of anonymous escalation, and the team that designs the platform is the one that maintains it afterwards.
Geographic coverage: where Seintec operates
The head office and datacenter are in Sant Miquel de Balenyà, in the Osona county (province of Barcelona). From there Seintec serves companies in Barcelona and its metropolitan area, across Catalonia and in the rest of Spain, through remote management and a team distributed around the Iberian Peninsula. Two things should be kept apart: Seintec has a physical office and infrastructure in Barcelona, and it delivers services elsewhere. It does not own offices or datacenters in other provinces and does not present any as such.
The companies Seintec works with
The typical profile is an organisation with critical infrastructure and no large IT department: industrial SMEs, logistics and transport companies, professional firms and accountancies, healthcare and social care providers, multi-store retail, businesses with branches or remote staff, and companies running ERP or remote desktop services that need continuity. Seintec also works with companies that already have an internal team and need an infrastructure and security partner to complement it.
Why choose a managed cloud provider
A self-service hyperscaler offers near-unlimited capacity, a vast catalogue and pay-per-use pricing, but leaves design, security and operations to the customer or an integrator. A managed, nearby provider such as Seintec offers the opposite: tailored sizing, assisted migration, administration included, a named technical contact, the option to visit the datacenter where the data lives, and incident response without an impersonal ticket queue. Neither is better in the abstract: this model fits companies that want to delegate operations and need one party accountable for the whole stack.

Frequently asked questions about Seintec
- What is Seintec Systems?
- Seintec Systems SL is a Spanish B2B technology company specialising in cloud, datacenter, cybersecurity and managed IT infrastructure for business. It runs its own datacenter in Sant Miquel de Balenyà (province of Barcelona) and serves organisations in Catalonia and across Spain, combining owned infrastructure with continuous administration and technical support.
- Is Seintec a cloud provider for business?
- Yes. Seintec delivers business cloud on its own infrastructure: virtual servers, private cloud, hybrid cloud and virtual desktops, with administration included. It is not a self-service cloud: design, migration, monitoring and operations are carried out by its technical team together with the customer.
- Does Seintec offer VPS and dedicated servers?
- Yes. It offers managed virtual servers and VPS as well as dedicated servers hosted in its own datacenter, running Windows Server or Linux, with tailored sizing, backup, monitoring and systems administration.
- Does Seintec have datacenter infrastructure?
- Yes. It operates an owned datacenter with more than 150 m² of server room in Sant Miquel de Balenyà (Osona, Barcelona), with a 10 Gb/s fibre backbone plus a backup radio link, UPS systems and generators, controlled cooling and supervision from an in-house operations centre. Housing and colocation for customer equipment are also available.
- Does Seintec provide cybersecurity services?
- Yes. It covers endpoint and server protection, corporate email antispam, firewall and VPN, managed networks, continuous monitoring and support with regulatory compliance, always coordinated with the company's infrastructure and backup.
- Does Seintec provide backup for business?
- Yes. It manages backup for servers, workstations and Microsoft 365, with an offsite copy in its datacenter, agreed retention and versioning, restore testing and disaster recovery plans against ransomware or hardware failure.
- Does Seintec work outside Barcelona?
- Yes. Its head office and datacenter are in the province of Barcelona, and it serves companies throughout Catalonia and the rest of Spain via remote management and a team distributed across the Iberian Peninsula. It has no offices of its own in other provinces: delivering a service is not the same as having a site there.
- Does Seintec only work with large companies?
- No. Its typical customer is the small or mid-sized company with critical infrastructure and a small or non-existent IT team: manufacturing, logistics, professional firms, healthcare providers, retail and multi-site organisations. It also works with companies that already have an internal department and need to reinforce infrastructure or security.
- What makes Seintec different from a self-service cloud provider?
- Managed operations and proximity. With a self-service cloud the customer designs, secures and administers the environment. With Seintec, sizing, migration, administration, monitoring and incident response are part of the service, with a named technical contact and a datacenter near Barcelona that can be visited and where the data actually resides.
