Seintec: The Infrastructure
We are responsible for the proper functioning of the server, operating system, network, remote access, SQL databases and backups. Our support covers any incidents related to these components.
Cloud Services · Cloud ERP
We move your installable Sage applications to private cloud servers managed by Seintec, with secure remote desktop access, SQL Server databases and consistent backups.
The service involves hosting the installable (on-premise) versions of Sage 200, Sage 50 or Sage Despachos on a private cloud server, owned by Seintec and located in our Osona (Barcelona) data centre. We create a remote desktop environment for your users to securely access the application from anywhere, with the same interface and functionality as if it were installed locally.
We take care of all the underlying infrastructure: the server, operating system, SQL Server databases, connectivity and consistent backups. Functional support for Sage, licences and program updates remain the responsibility of the manufacturer or your usual reseller. Seintec is not an official Sage partner.
Customer Profile
This service is designed for companies using the installable versions of Sage 200, Sage 50 or Sage Despachos who want the benefits of the cloud without changing their software:
Scope of Service
Our Sage hosting solution is focused on providing a robust and reliable platform. It includes the following technical components:
Service Demarcation
To ensure maximum efficiency, it's essential to distinguish each party's responsibilities. Seintec is not a Sage reseller, but a cloud infrastructure provider.
We are responsible for the proper functioning of the server, operating system, network, remote access, SQL databases and backups. Our support covers any incidents related to these components.
The client or their Sage partner is responsible for the software licence, installation of new versions, updates, functional configuration and resolving application-specific errors. We provide them with the necessary system-level support.
Getting Started
Our migration process is designed to be seamless and to minimise the impact on your daily operations. It consists of four key stages:
We conduct a review of your current Sage installation, user requirements, data volume and customisations to design the optimal solution. This is when we validate compatibility.
We provision the private cloud server in our data centre, install the operating systems (Windows Server, SQL Server) and configure the remote desktop environment.
We coordinate with you to copy the Sage databases and files to the new server. We schedule the final migration during a low-impact window, such as overnight or over a weekend.
Once the data is migrated, users carry out tests to confirm that everything is working correctly. After your sign-off, the environment goes live and we begin our ongoing platform support.
What Sets Us Apart
Unlike other providers who outsource services or resell third-party capacity, at Seintec we control the entire value chain. This translates into greater agility and security for your business.
Your Sage instance will be hosted in our own data centre in Sant Miquel de Balenyà (Barcelona). Having physical access and full control over the 60 m² server room allows us to act with maximum speed and without relying on anyone else.
From migration to daily support, you will always deal with the same Seintec technical team. No intermediaries or being passed between departments, ensuring a deep understanding of your environment and faster resolutions. In 2025, our average ticket resolution time was 7 minutes.
No, Seintec is not an official Sage partner. We are specialists in cloud infrastructure and services. We provide the technology platform to host the application, but functional support and the software licence remain with your usual Sage provider.
Updates and the installation of new Sage versions are the responsibility of the client or their Sage reseller, as they are part of the application's functional support. We provide server access so they can perform these tasks.
We guarantee an infrastructure-level Service Level Agreement (SLA), which will be 99.98% in 2025. Response times for specific incidents are defined in the support contract. We offer a 24/7 emergency support service for clients.
Yes, the remote desktop environment can be configured to recognise local printers, scanners and other peripherals. During the initial analysis stage, we review all the devices you need to connect to ensure their compatibility.
We include the version of SQL Server that is compatible with your version of Sage and its licensing requirements. We handle the installation, management and maintenance of the database as part of the infrastructure service.
Yes. Your data is hosted on a private server, not shared with other clients. We perform daily, consistent backups of the entire server (system, application and data), which allow for a full and reliable recovery in the event of an incident.
