What is our system administration service?

System administration is the combination of proactive and reactive technical tasks that ensure a company's servers run optimally, securely, and without interruption. It covers everything from role installation and configuration to managing updates, backups, performance monitoring, and incident resolution.

Our service involves taking on this responsibility as your dedicated IT infrastructure department. A technical team with over 15 years of experience will handle the complete management of your Windows Server and Linux servers, allowing you to focus on your core business with the peace of mind that your technology foundation is in safe hands.

Collaboration Model

A Clear Framework for an Effective Service

Transparency is key. We clearly define each party's responsibilities to ensure smooth collaboration with no surprises.

Seintec's Responsibilities

We carry out all technical tasks defined in the service agreement: monitoring, patch deployment, backup management, support, system documentation, and reporting. We act as your dedicated systems team.

Client's Responsibilities

Provide necessary access, communicate business needs that impact the infrastructure, approve significant proposed changes, and act as the primary contact for strategic decisions.

Third-Party Responsibilities

We coordinate with hardware vendors (for on-premise equipment warranties) and cloud providers (for platform availability), although we do not control their timelines or operations.

Our Value Proposition

In-house Team, No Middlemen, Based in Osona

We don't outsource support or use a tiered system. Since our founding in 2023, we have operated with an in-house technical team possessing over 15 years of experience. This ensures direct communication, in-depth knowledge of your infrastructure, and faster resolutions.

For services hosted at our facility, we have our own 60 m² data centre in Sant Miquel de Balenyà (Osona, Barcelona), giving us complete control over the physical environment. This model enabled us to handle over 8,500 requests in 2025 with an average resolution time of 7 minutes, achieving a service SLA of 99.98%.

Scope and Limitations

What the Base Administration Service Excludes

To maintain clarity, the administration service focuses on the operating system layer and its underlying infrastructure. The following areas are considered separate projects or services and are quoted for separately:

  • Software licensing costs (operating systems, databases, applications).
  • Hardware costs (for owned servers) or resource consumption costs in the public cloud.
  • Software development, application programming, or code-level bug fixing.
  • Functional support for the end-users of applications running on the servers.
  • System migration projects or large-scale transformations.

How We Start Working Together

  1. 01

    1. Initial Review

We conduct an initial free IT review or an in-depth audit (a paid service, the cost of which is deductible from future work) to understand the current state of your servers and your requirements.

  2. 02

    2. Service Proposal

We present a detailed proposal outlining the scope, included tasks, responsibilities, and terms of the administration service.

  3. 03

    3. Handover and Documentation

Once the proposal is approved, we begin the onboarding process, gathering access details, credentials, and thoroughly documenting your environment.

  4. 04

    4. Service Go-Live

Proactive management begins. We activate monitoring, review backups, schedule the initial maintenance tasks, and provide you with access to our support system.

Frequently Asked Questions about System Administration

Do you manage servers not hosted in your data centre?

Yes. We offer our administration service for servers located on-premise at the client's site, as well as for servers hosted in third-party clouds.

Which server operating systems do you support?

Our team has extensive experience in managing the most common versions of Windows Server and the main Linux distributions used in business environments.

Does the service include backup management?

Yes, monitoring and managing backup policies are part of the service. This includes checking that they run correctly and handling restores. The backup solution and storage can be part of this service or contracted separately.

How are out-of-hours critical emergencies handled?

We have a 24/7 emergency phone line (936 940 176) available to both clients and non-clients for critical incidents that cannot wait until the next business day. The specific terms of this support are detailed in the service agreement.

What is the difference between the free IT review and the audit?

The free review is a high-level analysis to get an initial overview of your IT estate. The in-depth audit is a comprehensive, documented, and paid-for analysis; its cost is deducted if you proceed with implementing the proposed improvements.

I have a mixed Windows and Linux environment. Can you manage it?

Yes, one of our key strengths is managing heterogeneous environments. We can unify the administration of your Windows and Linux servers under a single technical point of contact.
